No. A Lumira Homes Savant system is designed so that core smart home functionality operates over your home’s local network and does not require an active internet connection. This means an internet outage won’t prevent you from controlling essential features such as lighting, shades, audio, and other locally connected devices. Internet access is still required for certain cloud-based services, streaming content, remote access, and software updates.
